Our methodology

How we actually teach.

What follows is the curriculum framework — what we cover, in what order, and why. Written plainly so you can decide for yourself whether it suits you.

§III · METHODOLOGY

FOUR PRINCIPLES · FILED 2026

We teach trading like a craft, not a casino.

Four principles shape every lesson we publish. Read them in order. They build on each other.

  1. §01

    Watch before you wager

Every paid course includes a paper-trading phase before you risk a single Canadian dollar. Confidence is earned in simulation first.

    PAPER-TRADE · MIN 14 DAYS

  2. §02

    Risk is the first skill

We teach position sizing, stop-losses and drawdown limits before we teach a single setup. Most courses leave this for last. We refuse to.

    POSITION SIZING · 1% RULE

  3. §03

    Plain language, repeated often

We explain key terms every time they appear, with glossaries on every screen. You should never have to Google a word mid-lesson.

    GLOSSARY · ON EVERY SCREEN

  4. §04

    Slow and deliberate

Lessons average 18 minutes. Always re-watchable. Always with transcripts, captions, and slower playback options.

    AVG LESSON · 18 MIN

EXHIBIT B · ANNOTATED PRICE ACTION

FIG. 02 · ILLUSTRATIVE

A

Range — wait.

B

Breakout. Plan triggered.

C

Stop honoured. Lesson logged.

§I · CURRICULUM PRINCIPLES

PUBLISHED · 2026 EDITION · 6 SECTIONS

Six things we got right for our generation.

The principles below shape every lesson, every quiz, every email. They came from hundreds of conversations with Canadian learners aged 50+ about what every other trading school got wrong.

§01

Designed for our age group

Larger text. Slower pacing. Real-world examples grounded in Canadian retirement realities — not adrenaline-fuelled day-trader culture.

BASE SIZE 1.0625rem · LH 1.7

§02

Capital preservation, always first

Every lesson is filtered through one rule: protect first, grow second. We teach risk before we teach reward — even when it makes the curriculum harder to sell.

RISK · MODULE 01

§03

Learn at your pace

Lifetime access. Re-watch any lesson. No deadlines, no pressure, no Discord-channel chaos. The course you bought is the course you keep.

ACCESS · UNLIMITED

§04

Plain English. No jargon.

Every new term is defined inline AND in the lesson glossary. We assume you've never heard of a 'pip' and we never make you feel slow.

GLOSSARY · ON EVERY PAGE

§05

Canadian context throughout

Built around CAD, Canadian brokers, RRSPs, TFSAs and CRA considerations — not a US course with a maple-leaf bumper sticker. The CRA section alone takes two lessons.

CIRO · CIPF · OSC

§06

One unlock at a time

Start with our full free course. When you're ready, grow into one of three honest tiers — Foundation $250, Intermediate $500, or the Advanced 4-week cohort at $1,500 CAD.

FOUNDATION · INTERMEDIATE · ADVANCED

The best test is the free course itself.
